Cheerleading Interest Clinic

We are excited to announce that ATU cheer is hosting a college cheerleading interest clinic.
The in-person interest clinic will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 pm. The clinic is open to all applicants that are interested in trying out for ATU cheer. Participation in the interest clinic is highly encouraged for those trying out for cheer this year, but is not required for the Arkansas Tech Cheer Tryout process. There is a $30 fee to participate in the interest clinic.

Grades: 10th - College Senior Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm Cost: $30 REGISTER

Location: Hull Building | Single Gym (1306 North El Paso Ave, Russellville, AR) located on the Arkansas Tech University campus

Clinic Material:

Game Day Performance Chants/Fight Song, Group Stunts, Coed Stunts, Tumbling, Game Day Appearance.
All necessary tryout requirements as well as position by position walk throughs of proper technique use.
Q&A with captains and coach about the college cheer experience and any questions about Tech Cheer.

What to Bring:

Plenty of water
Snacks as needed
Layers as needed to stay warm
Any braces or tape needed for stunting/tumbling

Attire: We recommend cheer shoes, t-shirt, and comfortable shorts. Remember that coaches may be getting their first impression of you so you should be neatly groomed. For the safety of you and your stunt partners during the day, no jewelry please.
